RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Overview:
Join our Quantum team as a dedicated server support specialist focused on maintaining operational excellence and reducing technical debt. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to work with critical infrastructure systems while developing comprehensive documentation and processes that directly impact our team's operational efficiency.

About the Project:
The Quantum Team Documentation initiative is designed to systematize our server health monitoring, deployment processes, and technical debt reduction efforts. You will be instrumental in creating standardized procedures, maintaining system health, and establishing robust documentation practices that ensure operational continuity and knowledge transfer across our team.

Key Tasks:
* Monitor Quantum server health and analyze log files for issues
* Develop and track support tickets for system maintenance and improvements
* Create comprehensive deployment checklists and process documentation
* Maintain CMDB updates in ServiceNow for accurate system inventory
* Develop and maintain Confluence pages for team processes and procedures
* Implement and monitor application health checking systems
* Support patch management, system upgrades, and DevOps activities
* Create documentation to systematically reduce technical debt
* Collaborate with development teams to standardize deployment processes
* Establish monitoring protocols and escalation procedures

Additional Requirements:
* Position is full-time in the PGA campus, no hybrid/remote option

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong communication and documentation skills (critical requirement)
* Excellent organizational skills and self-driven work approach
* Basic SQL query capabilities
* Experience with system monitoring and log file analysis
* Process documentation and technical writing experience
* Ability to write simple Python scripts for automation support

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with server health monitoring tools
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment processes
* Knowledge of CMDB systems (ServiceNow preferred)
* Confluence or similar documentation platform experience
* Background in technical debt assessment and remediation
* Experience with patch management and system upgrades

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
