Systems/IT Business Analyst Healthcare Operations
Location: Louisville, KY (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Employment Type: W-2 Contract (No C2C)

About the Role
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Systems/IT Business Analyst to support transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals who excel at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, particularly within healthcare settings.
As a key contributor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and implement system improvements that align with organizational goals. Your efforts will directly impact the effectiveness of healthcare delivery and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of system solutions, ensuring they meet specified requirements.
- Provide support for system upgrades and new implementations, including user training and documentation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure systems remain compliant and effective.
Qualifications:
- Associate s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on systems analysis within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in analyzing business processes and developing technical solutions to address identified needs.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or revenue cycle management systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, is preferred.
