Role: - AppDynamics Architect SAP Monitoring Specialist
Location: - Miami, FL (onsite preferred) or Remote, USA
Need to work as per EST time zone
Duration: Contract (6+ Months and Extendable)

Pay Rate: $50/hr - $53/hr on W2 All Inclusive, Danta Technologies payroll OR $70/hr on C2C - Corporation to Corporation
Client-Interfacing and a Technical-Frontending Role
Summary:
The client wants someone who is both technical and strategic, with a deep understanding of AppDynamics and hands-on experience integrating it with SAP (especially SAP HANA). The candidate needs to be proactive, able to identify gaps, propose full-stack monitoring solutions, and interface directly with business and technical teams.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AppDynamics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review and enhance our current monitoring setup, identify and fix gaps, and implement full stack observability monitoring solutions from scratch. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AppDynamics, Splunk logging, and hands-on experience in scripting for automation. They should have a strong programming background with a good understanding of .NET, Java, Spring Boot API applications, database, API, frontend browser, and mobile applications. Additionally, experience with SAP monitoring configuration using AppDynamics is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing monitoring strategies and identify gaps in the current monitoring and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and implement APM monitoring solutions in AppDynamics.
- Configure SAP monitoring using AppDynamics to ensure comprehensive coverage and performance insights, including:

- Monitoring SAP HANA databases and infrastructure resources.
- Setting up automated checks for availability, performance, exceptions, and configuration.
- Creating and managing predefined templates for SAP system monitoring.
- Integrating SAP monitoring data with other observability tools for deeper insights.
- Create dashboards in AppDynamics to provide real-time insights into application performance and availability.
- Integrate Splunk logging with monitoring solutions to enhance observability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for synthetic tests using scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or shell scripting.
- Implement monitoring for Java Spring Boot APIs.
- Ensure effective monitoring for front-end browser and native mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to optimize monitoring strategies.
- Define and document best practices for synthetic monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and continuously improve monitoring coverage.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong experience with AppDynamics, including APM, EUM, DB, APPS and synthetic monitoring setup, dashboard creation, and alerting.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, including log ingestion, search queries, and alerting integration.
- Scripting expertise (Python, JavaScript, Shell, etc.) for automation and synthetic test creation.
- In-depth knowledge of Java Spring Boot applications and API monitoring.
- Familiarity with Kong Gateway and experience monitoring services behind API gateways.
- Experience monitoring frontend applications (React, Angular) and native mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with SAP monitoring configuration using AppDynamics, including SAP HANA databases and infrastructure resources.
