** HYBRID - 2x/week On-site in NYC **

Our client, a globally recognized Educational Institution, is looking to engage a seasoned Single Sign-On (SSO) Engineer to join a team responsible for implementing a number of highly visible initiatives within Identity Solutions.

Responsibilities:
This Engineer will be a key member of the Identity Solutions team, responsible for configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as part of a central Identity Provider. This role involves working closely with application owners and vendors to configure Service Providers and provide necessary application attributes. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with SSO technologies, including Shibboleth (SAML2), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and the Microsoft Entra ID SSO ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure central IdP Shibboleth (SAML2) for client applications.

- Configure central IdP OpenID Connect (OIDC) via WSO2 Identity Server for client applications.

- Provide necessary attributes for applications, map and remap attributes, and use regular expressions to adjust attributes as needed.

- Configure Entra ID IdP (SAML2 or OIDC) for application owners.

- Assist in migrating applications from Shibboleth (SAML2) & OpenID Connect (OIDC) into the Entra ID SSO ecosystem.

- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting steps.

Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with SSO technologies (Shibboleth, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID).

- Experience with identity federation, SSO, and MFA solutions.

- Proficiency in SAML2, OpenID Connect/OAuth2, and related technologies.

- Familiarity with REFEDS, Federation, Proxy, and Bridge systems such as CirrusIdentity.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex identity management issues.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education Requirements:
Required Certifications/Education

- Relevant certifications in identity management or related fields are a plus.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
