Amick Brown is seeking an experienced PROJECT MANAGER for our direct client.

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Estimated pay range: $56.29 - $70.37 hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.

Job Description

  • Experienced with all design and development lifecycle phases, including resourcing, planning, idea generation, concept development, testing, production, and implementation.
  • You measure your success by the success of the team you support.
  • The overall sustainability, efficiency, and visibility of the team are of utmost importance.
  • You take an unbiased approach that ensures balance and rigidity of the team.
  • This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Design Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within capacity
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure proper steps are taken to adhere to the design and development process
  • Leading design reviews, planning sessions and phased gate meetings
  • Work closely with the project management organization to optimize efficiency for the team

Qualifications

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in design project management and relevant tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe, Asana, and Microsoft products
  • Strong working knowledge of the Agile development process
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Negotiating consensus, aligning activities and problem-solving across different functions
  • Managing parallel programs consisting of different cross-functional core teams
  • Contributing to prioritization decisions using data and analysis from current and past projects
