Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Workday Financial Lead to join our client s Workday implementation team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Financials, including design, configuration, and deployment across modules such as Financial Accounting, Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Projects. This is a fully remote role with a preference for candidates who have experience in enterprise-scale implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Workday Financials, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday Financials configuration and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Procurement, IT, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
• Configure business processes, reports, dashboards, and security settings in Workday Financials.
• Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation efforts during cutover and post-go-live phases.
• Provide functional and strategic guidance to the project team and client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior Workday team members and provide training/documentation as needed.
• Ensure Workday Financials configuration complies with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Workday Financials Certification (current and active) is mandatory
• 7+ years of overall ERP experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on Workday Financials implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge in Core Financials, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Budgets, Projects, and Expenses.
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Workday Financials implementations as a lead.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and compliance practices.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in reporting and analytics using Workday tools.
• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field.

• This is a W2 Contract We are not able to work with C2C vendors or third-party agencies.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Remote work with occasional travel (if required and pre-approved).
