Job Title: DeltaV Automation Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer with strong pharmaceutical industry expertise, especially in API or bulk manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting automation solutions using the DeltaV DCS platform, contributing to large-scale pharmaceutical automation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support process automation projects using DeltaV DCS in pharma/biopharma settings.
- Contribute to large-scale automation programs with expertise in GMPs, validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations.
- Participate in design, implementation, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure automation systems meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.
- Apply ISA 88, GAMP, and SDLC/Agile principles in automation project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Computer) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of automation experience in the pharmaceutical industry (API/bulk preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS (10+ years).
- Experience in large pharmaceutical automation projects/programs.
- Understanding of Process Automation implementation in GMP environments.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with ISA 88, GAMP, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA, HMI, API systems, or SQL software.
- Prior experience with biopharmaceutical manufacturing automation environments.
- Exceptional teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
