Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Client Support Specialist, Technical Product Analyst Jr.

Description

As a WOTC Client Support Specialist, youll be instrumental in helping our clients maximize their Work Opportunity Tax Credit opportunities. This role blends data management, technical support, compliance oversight, and client education to ensure a seamless WOTC process.

Process Client WOTC: Guide clients through the entire WOTC lifecycle, from initial screening to final credit certification, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Review and Upload Data: Accurately review client forms and data in a timely manner, then securely upload them to realize potential tax credits.

Resolve Technical Issues: Provide support for technical problems such as client login difficulties, reporting errors, and file load issues.

Investigate and Solve Problems: Proactively gather information to thoroughly investigate and resolve client inquiries or issues.

Ensure WOTC Compliance: Conduct regular account reviews to ensure continuous adherence to IRS regulations and WOTC program guidelines.

Conduct External Training: Deliver WOTC training and educational sessions for client account contacts to enhance their understanding.

Collaborate on Challenges: Work with internal teams to identify and resolve any challenges that could impact clients potential tax credits.

Support System Testing: Assist with testing new features and enhancements as they are integrated into the WOTC systems.

Manage Special Projects: Undertake special projects driven by program renewals, regulation changes, or evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will focus on delivering exceptional support and ensuring our clients successfully navigate their WOTC journey, directly contributing to their financial benefits.

Manage Client Inquiries: Provide timely and professional support to clients via Salesforce cases (emails) and CCAI calls within established timeframes.

Facilitate System Integrations: Assist clients with setting up and maintaining integrations between their ATS, onboarding, and payroll systems with our WOTC solutions.

Oversee Payroll Collection: Responsible for the quarterly collection and secure upload of client payroll data, crucial for credit calculation.

Monitor Client Compliance: Continuously monitor client payroll submissions and overall WOTC compliance, identifying areas for improvement.

Drive Program Optimization: Participate in projects aimed at maximizing client WOTC programs, including Form 9198 collection and addressing screening inactivity.

Distribute Tax Reports: Facilitate the prompt receipt of necessary tax filing reports for clients.

Escalate Complex Issues: Efficiently escalate client concerns or complex issues to the appropriate internal specialists for resolution.

Provide Client Demonstrations: Set up compliance/screening reports and conduct demonstrations of the client portal upon request.
