Job Details

Position: Support Services Program Manager

Education: Bachelor s degree or master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

Required Experience:

  1. 15+ years managing IT projects.
  2. 15+ years experience working with enterprise content management and enterprise capture solutions.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Familiarity with Department policies, processes and workflows.
  2. Experience managing projects for, or on behalf of, the State of Louisiana.
  3. Applicant should have prior experience with large-scale electronic document management
  4. systems and workflows
  5. Experience administering and managing large projects.
  6. Experience with rate setting, cost allocation and invoicing.
  7. Experience determining and establishing line of service costs.
  8. Experience managing task orders.
  9. General understanding and experience with electronic document management systems and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide day-to-day project management support.
  2. Creation of project documentation: status reports, project schedules and plans, meeting
  3. minutes, track risks and issues, other documentation as needed.
  4. Activity and resource planning.
  5. Analyze project risks & issues and identify ways to mitigate them.
  6. Process monitoring.
  7. Monitor project deliverables.
  8. Conduct cost/benefit analysis.
  9. Document specifications and requirements tracking.
  10. Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes.
  11. Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to
  12. provide support services for agency s workload demands.
