Location: Dallas, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Application Portfolio Management (APM) Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and automating data processes within our APM system. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, process improvement expertise, and excellent communication skills to ensure integrity, accuracy, and efficiency in our application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain data within the APM system, ensuring all application information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards.
Continuously analyze and enhance processes for registering and updating application records, driving efficiency and scalability within the portfolio management lifecycle.
Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline data entry, updates, and reporting within the APM system.
Perform bulk updates to application records as needed, utilizing advanced data handling techniques and automation tools to ensure consistency and reliability.
Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe to gather requirements, communicate updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth data workflows.
Write scripts and code to automate repetitive tasks, perform data analysis, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve data quality within the APM system, identifying discrepancies, resolving data integrity issues, and implementing preventive measures.
Document procedures, best practices, and process enhancements to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience in Application Portfolio Management, IT data management, or a similar domain.
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, PowerShell, or similar languages) for automation and data analysis.
Solid understanding of data quality concepts, data governance, and process optimization methodologies.
Experience with bulk data operations and automation tools within enterprise environments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
