Pay Range: $44 - $45.90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial processes for client
- Handle general ledger entries and bookkeeping.
- Responsible for monthly forecasting for budgets.
- Assist in the creation of the annual budget.
- Utilize MS tools to create reports.
- Transition reporting systems to Power BI.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for budget reports to the VP.
- Compile budget reports for the previous year.
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analysing financial statements, performance metrics, and trends to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
- Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Providing guidance and support to junior financial analysts.
- Conducting financial analysis and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Presenting financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
- Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in financial analysis.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Financial Analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Excel and Power BI
- 5 to 8 years of accounting or financial experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and accruals.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to format reports as required by the organization.
- Experience preparing PowerPoint reports for senior leadership presentations.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good ability to engage and work with others.
- Task-oriented focus and timeliness in meeting deliverables.
