Pay Range: $44 - $45.90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support financial processes for client
  • Handle general ledger entries and bookkeeping.
  • Responsible for monthly forecasting for budgets.
  • Assist in the creation of the annual budget.
  • Utilize MS tools to create reports.
  • Transition reporting systems to Power BI.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for budget reports to the VP.
  • Compile budget reports for the previous year.
  • Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Analysing financial statements, performance metrics, and trends to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior financial analysts.
  • Conducting financial analysis and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Presenting financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in financial analysis.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Financial Analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Excel and Power BI
  • 5 to 8 years of accounting or financial experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and accruals.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to format reports as required by the organization.
  • Experience preparing PowerPoint reports for senior leadership presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Good ability to engage and work with others.
  • Task-oriented focus and timeliness in meeting deliverables.
