  • Gather and evaluate diagnostic requirements from engineering, manufacturing and service teams
  • Define logical and functional requirements for diagnostics and vehicle configuration
  • Support internal and external implementation and validation for functional requirements and cross-system diagnostic use cases
  • Maintain/report status of diagnostic implementation to development teams and internal consumers
  • Analyze performance of diagnostics using data from development & customer fleets and update designs/specifications to incorporate improvements & lessons learned.
  • Lead collaborative development of repair procedures associated with diagnostic trouble codes
  • Support troubleshooting for Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and/or configuration issues throughout development, vehicle launch, and production, both directly with engineers and through the development of internal diagnostic user guides.

You'll have...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Control Systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn on the job and work independently
  • Experience working with teams utilizing agile development methodology
  • Experience with Automotive Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) ISO-14229
  • Experience with system architecture development and requirement authoring utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Even better, you may have...
  • M.S. In Electrical, Controls, Computer, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
  • Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills
  • Experience with ADAS systems, components and features
  • Familiarity with CAN and Automotive Ethernet Networking, particularly related to diagnostic communication, including DOIP
  • Familiarity with classic and adaptive AUTOSAR stacks in support of diagnostic and configuration capabilities
  • Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools: CANoe, CANanalyzer
  • Experience with system engineering tools: MagicDraw, Jama, TestRail
