Skill : Oracle EPM Systems Administrator
Location : Newport Beach, CA (Onsite), 4 days a week
Duration : 6+ months Contract to Hire
Job description:
The Oracle EPM Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform and its supporting infrastructure. This role ensures a secure, high-performing, and reliable environment for financial planning, reporting, and analytics.
In addition to strong technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling them to work closely with financial subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders. They will be adept at translating business needs into technical solutions, gathering requirements, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EPM environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience administering Oracle EPM platforms.
- Proficiency in EPM Automate, Groovy scripting, SQL Server, and SmartView.
- Experience with networking concepts, SSO, and system integration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle EPM certification(s).
- Experience with cloud-based EPM solutions and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Oracle EPM Cloud and on-premises environments, including Planning and related modules.
- Manage and monitor system performance, integrations, and batch processes using EPM Automate, Groovy scripts, and SQL Server.
- Maintain and troubleshoot SmartView connectivity and performance issues.
- Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and other security protocols to ensure secure access.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support application enhancements and resolve issues.
- Monitor and maintain system integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
- Perform regular system health checks, patching, and upgrades.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay current with Oracle EPM updates, best practices, and emerging technologies
Additional information:
- Must work onsite in Newport Beach, CA office; 4 days a week and remote one day.
- We will not pay for re-location.
- Candidates will need to interview in person at Newport Beach, CA office.
