Job Details

Job Title: Test Engineer Component to Vehicle-Level Testing

Location: Palo Alto, CA & Long Beach, CA

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time conversion)

Industry: Automotive / Electric Vehicles

Required Experience 5 to 6 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Test Engineers to plan, execute, and analyze structured and exploratory testing across component, subsystem, and vehicle levels for electric vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams to define test requirements.

Develop and execute test plans and procedures.

Set up test environments and instrumentation.

Monitor test execution, identify issues, and analyze data.

Document results, report bugs, and support test automation efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience in automotive, IoT, or electronics testing.

Familiarity with structured (DVP&R) and exploratory testing.

Proficiency with tools like dSpace, Vector, Python scripting.

Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, SPI, I2C protocols.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
