Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a Software Development Tester in Test (SDET) for our client at Lanham, MD. The details of the requirement are given here under. Interested candidates may submit their resumes in word format.

Role Responsibilities:

• SDET 6+ years of experience preferred.
• Design and develop automated test methodologies, collaborate with engineering and product teams on test design and automation.
• Verify that the new functionality and/or other non-functional requirements have been satisfied by the system-under-test.
• Identify incidents/errors/bugs in system execution; expose faults in the interaction between integrated units via end-to-end runs.
• Ensure component calculations are implemented in the software as per the Requirements.
• Write test scenarios based on Acceptance Criteria (automate if applicable)
• Collaborate with other team members, business units, and user groups to identify impacts of changes or enhancements.
• Evaluate and document test results.

• Open-source automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin (40%)
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery: Jenkins (5%)
• Build tools (Maven) (5%)
• SCM tools (SVN, Bitbucket, GIT) SQL (Oracle), (10%)
• Project management tools (Jira)

Areas of Focus in Development During First Year

• 5/7 years of experience with Technical Skills Including:
