Gejits Infotech Inc needs a Program Manager with minimum 10 Years experience to join our direct state client at Tallahassee, Florida. This is a remote job at state department office at Tallahassee, Florida. Please apply only if you can be onsite for the job.
Duration: Long Term.
Required Skills:
a. A minimum of Ten(10) years of business experience.
b. Requires prior management, supervisory or team leader experience.
c. Experience writing, implementing, and maintaining project management standards
and processes.
d. Experience reviewing and providing quality assurance of requirements, user stories,
acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
e. Problem solving and analytical skills.
f. Project, time, and people management skills
g. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical
staff, at all levels of management.
Responsibilities:
a. Project Leadership & Coordination
i. Lead day-to-day project management activities, including task coordination,
milestone tracking, dependency management, and issue escalation.
ii. Maintain project plans, schedules, workstreams, and commitments, ensuring
visibility and alignment across business and technical teams.
iii. Proactively identify delivery risks and blockers, and work with stakeholders to
resolve them quickly.
b. Requirements Elicitation & Documentation
i. Facilitate working sessions, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to
extract business, functional, and technical requirements.
ii. Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance
criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
iii.Work closely with technical leads to validate requirements, refine details, and
ensure feasibility and clarity.
iv. Follow the established Agency Project Management Standards.
c. Technical Team Integration
i. Embed within the technical team to understand work in progress, design
considerations, integration points, and constraints.
ii.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources,
ensuring communication is clear, assumptions are validated, and expectations
are managed.
iii. Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions to
maintain alignment and momentum.
d. Cross-Functional Engagement & Resource Coordination
i. Ensure the right resources are engaged at the right time, coordinating
availability and participation across business, technical, and vendor teams.
ii. Track action items, ownership, and follow-through, ensuring accountability and
timely completion.
iii. Facilitate communication and decision-making across all project participants.
e. Project Documentation & Communication
i. Develop and maintain project documentation including agendas, action logs,
decision logs, technical discussion summaries, requirements documentation,
and progress reports.
ii. Ensure project information is organized, current, and accessible to stakeholders.
iii. Provide regular status updates tailored to each audience (executive, technical,
operational).
f. Agile Delivery Support
i. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, demos, retrospectives) or
hybrid project practices as appropriate.
ii. Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with
product and technical leads.
iii. Encourage iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
g. Tools & Systems Proficiency
i. Utilize project and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps,
MS Project, Confluence, SharePoint) to track progress and maintain
transparency.
ii. Establish dashboards, reports, and metrics to communicate status, risks, and
performance.
h. Quality & Change Management Support
i. Ensure requirements traceability through design, development, testing, and
deployment.
ii. Support change management processes, including documenting impacts,
capturing decisions, and maintaining updated artifacts.
iii. Assist with user acceptance testing coordination and readiness activities.
