Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Term: 6+ Months Contract on W2
Location: Richmond, VA(Onsite)
First week would require four days (Monday-Thursday) in the office. After week one, must be in office Tuesdays and Thursday
Purpose of position:
Client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a BA
This position conducts market research, creates financial analysis and some modeling, and documents process in support of new IT Infrastructure and Enterprise solicitations and ongoing services.
  • Support market research related to IT services and related pricing models
  • Ability to conduct market research and connect content to pricing models
  • Analyze current usage and consumption related data
  • Assist with financial requirements development for new solicitations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with the development of various scenarios to be used for financial evaluation, selection of suppliers and strategic decision making
  • Develop strong understanding of data environment with ability to pull data and perform complex analysis
  • Develop effective reports, PowerPoint presentations, graphs, charts and other visual aids to communicate financial findings and negotiation results to key stakeholders including leadership
  • Develop Power BI dashboards to support Sourcing team needs
  • Develop segmentation view of entities that buy off of contracts and other similar
  • Develop financial and other data driven dashboards in Power BI
  • Develop process documents for Market and Analysis Program
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must have aptitude to understand complex IT commodities to be able to support financial analysis function
  • Act as backup for Market and Analytics Insights Manager in meetings
  • Must be comfortable working in whitespace
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial evaluations in support of sourcing and procurement activities. Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations that condense complex financial findings into summarized yet effective slides; ability to work independently with limited supervision; ability to work with all levels of staff and the general public; ability to communicate effectively in both orally and in written form.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, information systems, finance or related field preferred or a combination of training and experience may substitute for college degree.
