Description

We are seeking an Electronics Technician based in BRIGHTON, Colorado, United States. This role will primarily involve providing specialized guidance to field operators concerning the repair and operation of water / ice vending kiosks, participating in root cause analysis and board level repairs of various components, and monitoring station performance. This role is within the telecom provider industry.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized guidance to field operators related to the repair and operation of water / ice vending kiosks

Participate in the root cause analysis and board level repairs of various components, including de-soldering / soldering of capacitors, resistors, ICs, etc. on PCBAs

Monitor station performance using internal computer software programs

Assist the manufacturing department as required

Conduct rotation of weekend monitoring and support

Maintain strong communication with individuals and/or groups as needed to resolve equipment issues

Demonstrate proficiency in standard analytical trouble-shooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues

Leverage electronics, PCBA board level repair experience, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills for both hands-on and technical tasks

Read and interpret electronic schematics

Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a professional manner through actions and communication.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques.
Extensive experience working with PCBs, motherboards, capacitors, and resistors.
Knowledge of PCB design and ability to perform root cause analysis.
Proficiency in using multimeters for troubleshooting and repairs.
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and techniques.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Flexibility to work in different shifts, if required.
