Database Applications Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6 12 Months
Local candidates to GA preferred

Core Skills

  • Primary Focus (First 12 18 Months): SQL Data Engineering

  • Workflow design, data modeling, SSIS

  • Advanced SQL skills (joins, T-SQL queries)

  • Experience with BigQuery & Google Cloud Platform

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition & Ingestion: Build and maintain pipelines using SSIS, Alteryx, and other ETL tools; work with sources like SQL Server, SAP, Teradata, Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and flat files.

  • Data Quality & Efficiency: Identify and implement solutions to improve data reliability, performance, and quality.

  • Alteryx Expertise: Admin/user management, advanced workflow management, and enforcing roles/security best practices.

  • Data Architecture: Help define frameworks, standards, and principles for modeling, metadata, security, and reference data.

  • Model Optimization: Design and optimize data models to support business applications.

  • System Integration: Review changes to existing systems for compatibility.

  • Workflow Automation: Streamline processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
