Description
We are looking for a PC Technician to join our team on a short-term contract in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves hands-on technical work with laptops and other devices, ensuring they are prepared for return following lease expiration. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and comfortable working with a variety of hardware and systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform hardware resets on over 100 laptops to prepare them for lease return.
Ensure all devices are properly wiped and ready for return to the bank.
Handle associated hardware components and ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with colleagues to meet project timelines and expectations.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.
Troubleshoot minor issues related to Apple and Dell devices.
Follow established procedures for cable installation and device setup.
Ensure compliance with company standards during all technical operations.
Document tasks and processes to provide updates on project progress.
Requirements
Proven experience working with computer hardware and associated components.
Familiarity with Apple and Dell technologies.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of cable installation processes.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving minor technical issues.
Previous experience in similar hardware reset or technical roles.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members.
