Job Details

Myticas Consulting is seeking a senior D365 F&O Core Technical consultant to design, build, and optimize extensions and integrations for a liquor retail client. This role is hands-on across X++, Azure DevOps, LCS, and data pipelines-supporting performance, reliability, and seamless releases across CHE and Tier-2 environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom D365 F&O extensions using X++, C#, and the extensibility framework.

  • Manage code packaging & deployments via LCS and Azure DevOps across CHE and Tier-2 sandboxes.

  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to project teams.

  • Configure and manage environments via Power Platform Admin Center and LCS.

  • Implement and monitor Business Events and Data Events for real-time integrations/automation.

  • Build/maintain integrations using DMF, OData, Batch Jobs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate.

  • Configure and manage Azure Data Lake integration; enable Entity Store and analytics exports.

  • Collaborate with data teams to enable Power BI embedded analytics within D365 F&O.

  • Ensure alignment to Microsoft best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
Must-Have Technical Skills
  • 10+ years relevant experience in Microsoft ERP engineering (AX/D365 F&O).

  • Strong in X++, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git.

  • Deep knowledge of D365 F&O extensibility (Pre/Post handlers, Chain of Command, custom services).

  • Proven CI/CD setup for D365 (LCS asset mgmt, build/release pipelines).

  • Business/Data Events, OData/DMF, Batch integrations.

  • Environment & user management via Power Platform Admin Center.

  • Azure Data Lake and Entity Store integration; basic Power BI report creation & embedding.
Nice to Have / Other Skills
  • Functional understanding of GL, AP/AR, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Project Management.

  • Data entities, data packages, data migration strategies.

  • Experience supporting Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
