Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support across multiple hospital locations in the Milwaukee area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of working independently while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support, troubleshooting, and installation services.
  • Perform computer rebuilds and ensure proper data backup within Windows OS.
  • Support end-users with hardware and software issues, including imaging laptops and desktops.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Work with Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets as needed.
  • Assist with equipment setup, takedown, and moves within hospital environments.
  • Communicate effectively with C-level leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional hygiene and business etiquette in a healthcare setting.

Required Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and working cell phone.
  • Comfortable working an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Open to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving IT processes.

Additional Information

  • Work schedule: 8-hour days with flexible start and end times.
  • Travel: Multiple Milwaukee-area locations; no mileage reimbursement.
  • Occasional need to work at different sites during the day.
  • Experience Level: Intermediate.

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
