Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Applications Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and developing functional specifications to ensure IT systems align with business objectives. Join our dynamic team in New Haven, Connecticut, and make a meaningful impact through your expertise.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify business needs and translate them into actionable system requirements.
Act as a liaison between development teams and end-users, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead business application projects, including drafting specifications, statements of work, and project plans.
Manage IT-related initiatives across divisions, including corporate enterprise projects and customer-supplier collaborations.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by providing strong project management leadership.
Coordinate with development teams, quality assurance personnel, and users to test processes and validate functionality.
Conduct comprehensive business requirements analyses and prepare detailed scopes of work for proposed software solutions.
Provide advanced application support to users and troubleshoot complex issues.
Develop user documentation and training materials to facilitate smooth implementation and adoption of applications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology roles, including 4+ years in application-focused positions.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Applications Analyst.
Experience with NetSuite ERP or Oracle Applications.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
Relevant certifications, such as Oracle NetSuite Certification, are highly desirable.
Strong expertise in business systems, business process functions, and developing Business Requirement Documents.
Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
Excellent communication and analytical skills to effectively bridge technical and business domains.
