Staff Platform Node Engineer / Startup / HealthTech

A Chicago-based HealthTech startup is looking for a Senior Platform Node Engineer who can come help build out their core app as they continue to focus on compliance. This will be a Full Time, local remote role.
This nationally recognized brand in the individual Healthcare space is looking for a Staff level Node Engineer who can help them get their application to the next level. They're currently about halfway done migrating their legacy Ruby Back end into modern Node with AWS Serverless. You'll need to be very confident in Node and Serverless architecture, ideally having worked extensively with AWS or a similar cloud. Their Front End is built in React and you'll have some exposure to that, but will primarily be owning their Back End work. • Strong Node experience

• Familiar with a true startup environment
• BS in CS/STEM/Related

• AWS experience (2+ years/certification)

• Experience with different types of compliance and approvals
• MS+ in CS/STEM/Related
• Leadership experience
• Front End Experience with React
