Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Consultant onsite in Richmond, VA

Job Description: We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong consulting background to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between clients and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Utilize previous experience as an analyst on implementation projects for platform tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Appian, etc.
  • Translate client needs into actionable requirements, drawing out key details to meet end-client objectives.
  • Apply government and regulatory knowledge to enhance project outcomes, with a preference for candidates with Virginia State or regulatory experience.
  • Develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - requiring a keen ability to learn processes and interpret statutes.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record as a Senior BSA with a polished consulting approach.
  • Experience in design and requirements phases of new vendor application implementation.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and support the adoption of new tools, coupled with strong listening skills and patience.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL scripting, report building, and creating workflow applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience engaging in joint application development sessions and walking through applications during the design phase.
  • Competence in managing backlogs for scrum masters and developers.

Work Environment:
  • Hybrid onsite schedule 2 to 3 days
