Location: CA-Irvine, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a UX/UI Designer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Specialize in user experience strategy and design, as well as front-end prototyping for web applications and other digital delivery platforms, help drive the support and future development of various products and service across multiple platforms
Collaborate on the experience design across the product portfolio, including content development, user research, user-centered design processes, and user experience prototyping and development
Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions across uses cases by creating process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
Partner with Product and Engineering to identify requirements, use cases, and user journeys, and overall contribute to and guide the product vision
Lead efforts to expand and enhance the digital delivery channels of the company, improving the user experience for accessing current and future publications, outreach, research, data, special projects, speeches, education materials, multi-media content, and other types of communications that support the mission of the company
Assess a product's positioning and role within the online organization's sites, products, and services
Develop and write interaction and functional specifications
Review competing products and recommend design solutions that differentiate the organization's products from those of competitors
Develop new research and test theories that lead to alternative, leading-edge design solutions
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technology related fields, such as Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or related Design certification
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product Design or UX
Minimum of three (3) years of comprehensive knowledge and best practices for Interaction Design, Visual/UI Design, Information Architecture, User Experience Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping
Ability to navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity that brings the user, technology, and business together through rigorous design thinking and human-centered design for evolving problem spaces
A deep arsenal of design tools (Figma, FigJam, LucidChart, Overflow.io)
Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
Experience with modern web development frameworks (e.g. React/ReactJS)
Experience working with distributed teams, across multiple time zones

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Media and Entertainment or Technology development companies
Experience with Content Management and/or Asset Management Systems
Experience with Jira or similar product management software
Experience in agile/scrum development/project methodologies
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
