SAP PP / PP-DS Supply Chain Planning (SME)

Duration: 1 to 2 year project

Location: Remote / Occasional Travel

Role Summary:

The SAP PP / PP-DS SME will lead the Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling workstream for a large-scale SAP implementation within a manufacturing organization. This role requires strong business acumen, deep SAP expertise, and the ability to independently drive solution design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the SAP PP and PP-DS workstream from requirements through deployment

Partner with business stakeholders to understand planning, scheduling, and capacity requirements

Translate business needs into scalable SAP PP/PP-DS solutions

Design and configure planning processes supporting make-to-stock and make-to-order models

Ensure integration with MM, EWM, QM, and SD modules

Coordinate design and build activities with offshore delivery teams

Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and cutover activities

Provide guidance during go-live and post-go-live stabilization

Travel to client locations in Arizona, Illinois, and Delaware as required

Required Skills & Experience:

12 to 15+ years of SAP PP experience, including hands-on PP-DS

Experience with S/4HANA implementations

Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling processes

Proven ability to lead workstreams and engage with business users

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
