F-35 Systems Engineer Senior - Fleet Analytics - Level 3

Location: Fort Worth TX

What You Will Be Doing
Join a world-class team driving innovation and sustainment on the cutting edge of aviation. We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the F-35 Fleet Analytics team, supporting the reliability and performance of the most advanced fighter jet in the world.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the F-35 Sustainment Reliability Analytics Team, providing deep technical insight into fleet performance and serving as a trusted interface for both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will directly support mission readiness by identifying and addressing performance degraders across F-35 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, maintenance procedures, and system-level trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze F-35 sustainment and operational data to identify performance degraders and improvement opportunities.

- Translate complex data into actionable insights and create reports and presentations tailored for stakeholders across engineering, logistics, and program leadership.

- Serve as a technical liaison for performance metric reporting, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with program goals.

- Mentor junior analysts by sharing your knowledge of aircraft systems, sustainment strategies, and data interpretation best practices.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and customer teams to support continuous improvement in fleet readiness and sustainment planning.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or STEM
discipline or 5 years aircraft related
experience as pilot or maintainer in absence of a Bachelors Degree

Analytical and problem-solving experience

Experience with manipulation and/or analysis
of data in spreadsheets (MS Excel - Equations,
Pivot Tables and/or VBA).

Project management experience with multiple
deadlines, managing customer requirements,
and/or experience presenting status to senior
leadership.

Desired skills

Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability
of solving complex problems which require
ingenuity and innovation.
Experience in metrics requirement definition,
performance data analysis and/or reporting
activities.
Experience with systems engineering
approaches and configuration management.
In depth knowledge of Performance Based
Logistics (PBL) Sustainment baseline,
performance metric measures, aircraft readiness
degraders, and readiness reporting techniques.
Knowledge and experience with two or more of
the following F35 sustainment processes and
supporting organizations: Training Systems,
Supply Chain Management, Support Equipment,
Autonomic Logistics Information Systems, Joint
Service Technical Data, Engineering disciplines
and Production processes.
Reliability and Maintainability experience
preferred.
Experience in international programs and
dealing with foreign customers and basic
knowledge of the global industrial base.
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, with an ability to address diverse
audiences.
Experience with Tableau, Business Objects or
Visual Basic.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
