RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
The QA Engineer is responsible for designing & implementing scalable test automation frameworks, tools, & quality engineering practices for an enterprise-wide data and automation platform. This role is deeply hands-on building automated test suites, integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, & driving shift-left testing with the engineering team.

Testing Responsibilities:
* Develop test strategies: Create & implement comprehensive test plans & strategies for projects & application components
* Ensure the successful execution of various tests, including manual and automated, functional, and regression testing
* Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and solutions to improve efficiency and prevent regressions
* Find, report, and track bugs and issues, ensuring proper severity levels and clear steps to reproduce them
* Work to ensure the overall quality of the product, often with a focus on non-functional requirements like accessibility and performance testing

Reporting & Tracking:
* Collaborate with other teams: Partner with engineering, product, etc.
* Continuously identify gaps and opportunities to improve QA processes, methodologies, and efficiency
* Produce status reports, communicate test results, and provide insights on product quality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Define and drive the adoption of quality metrics to measure test effectiveness and overall product quality
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts

REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is typically required
* 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation
* Testing Types: Experience with various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, load, API (Experience with REST API testing using Postman, or similar tools) And user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Testing Methodologies: Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
* Test Automation: Expertise in test automation libraries (e.g. unittest, PyTest, coverage etc.) and frameworks (DRF Test Suite, pytest-django etc.) and proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
* Tools: Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

This role is critical in ensuring platform components meet functional, performance, and security standards through engineering-driven quality practices rather than manual test coverage oversight.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
