Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP EDI Specialist responsible for establishing, monitoring, and maintaining integrations between the client’s internal SAP enterprise applications and external suppliers/customers through a Cloud-based EDI platform managed by a services provider.

The ideal candidate will support global trading partners, troubleshoot integration issues, and independently drive new EDI onboarding initiatives across multiple standards. This role also offers exposure to API-led integrations and AI-driven automation to enable intelligent, real-time data flows.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily integration processes across EDI protocols, SAP IDoc interfaces, and related ports; ensure timely error identification and resolution.

  • Collaborate with internal IT/SAP teams, sales admin, customer service, shipping, finance, purchasing, and production planning teams, along with the EDI managed services provider, to analyze and resolve issues.

  • Provide support across application-to-application (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration technologies.

  • Manage communication and relationships with trading partner EDI coordinators to ensure seamless data exchange.

  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and delivery commitments with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Coordinate and deliver EDI change requests aligned with business needs.

  • Lead project planning sessions to gather and analyze business/technical requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to standard IT procedures, documentation, and compliance practices.

  • Provide guidance to the managed services partner on EDI mapping specifications.

  • Prepare functional specs, test plans, technical integration documentation, user guides, and control plans.

  • Prepare and execute integration test plans with accurate simulated test data.

  • Work closely with the managed services provider to plan and perform testing activities.
