Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Client Partner to manage and grow strategic accounts within the Utilities sector in the San Diego region. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering technology-led transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with senior executives at utility companies to understand their business challenges and collaborate with our internal teams to bring the best of our IT services, consulting, and digital capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner and strategic advisor for key utility clients in the San Diego area.

  • Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities across IT services, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, and managed services.

  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to achieve revenue and margin objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with delivery, pre-sales, and solution teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead contract renewals, negotiations, and proposal development in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on utility industry trends and emerging technologies impacting the energy and utilities ecosystem.

  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and performance reviews with client executives to ensure alignment and long-term value creation.

  • Act as the voice of the client within the organization to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.

  • Represent the company at industry forums, networking events, and client meetings in the region.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 8 12 years of experience in account management, client partnership, or business development within the IT services or consulting industry.

  • Demonstrated success in managing enterprise accounts within the Utilities or Energy sector.

  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery, digital transformation, and technology consulting models.

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and customer retention goals.

  • Exceptional relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage CXO-level relationships and translate client needs into actionable technology solutions.

  • Must be based in or willing to travel regularly to the San Diego area for client engagement.
