Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master for Agile software development teams.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, especially the Scrum framework (Kanban knowledge is a plus).
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to foster trust and collaboration within the team.
Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools.
Understanding of software development processes and modern engineering practices.
Ability to identify and remove impediments effectively.
Experience in supporting and driving continuous improvement in teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of either direct scum master or project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a servant-leader for one or more cross-functional Agile teams.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile practices and the Scrum framework.
Promote self-organization, cross-functionality, and accountability within the team.
Process & Delivery
Ensure the team follows Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-prioritized backlog and clear product vision.
Assist the team in defining and meeting commitments to deliver high-quality increments.
Identify and remove impediments and blockers to team progress.
Foster continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and feedback loops.
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as the main point of contact between the development team and stakeholders.
Encourage open communication and transparency within and outside the team.
Facilitate collaboration between team members, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other teams.
Help manage dependencies and coordinate with other Scrum Masters.
Metrics & Reporting
Track and communicate progress through relevant Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, throughput).
Use metrics to identify areas for process improvement while avoiding the misuse of metrics to judge individuals.
Provide visibility of team delivery and progress to stakeholders.
