Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Redis In-Memory Administrator/Developer who has a strong background in SQL and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Redis databases, as well as developing and implementing solutions that leverage Redis to improve application performance and data accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Redis Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain Redis instances in various environments (development, staging, production).
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of Redis databases.
- Implement data persistence strategies and backup solutions for Redis data.
Development:
- Develop, test, and deploy applications that utilize Redis for caching, session management, or data storage.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate Redis with existing applications.
Database Administration:
- Manage and maintain SQL and Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for performance improvement.
- Handle database backup, recovery, and migration tasks as needed.
Performance Tuning:
- Analyze database performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Optimize Redis configurations for read and write throughput and reduced latency.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Redis applications.
- Assist in designing data architecture and data modeling solutions to meet application requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting when issues arise with Redis or database systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for Redis configurations, database schemas, and processes.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, usage metrics, and incident resolutions.
