Immediate opportunities for Hyper-V Engineers to join our team working as Customer Engineers (CE s). Positions are full time salaried roles offering comprehensive benefits. A CE s time is dedicated to working with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, usually F1000 companies. CE s work with and assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of Hyper-V initiatives.

Salary Range: $100 - $110K based on experience

Travel: CE s are home based, delivering services predominately via Microsoft Teams, however, some travel may be required.

Primary Work Includes:

  • Standard Product Work Shops - Training
  • In-Depth Product Reviews via White Board Chalk Talk Sessions
  • Administer Health Checks and Risk Assessments
  • Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
  • Product Upgrade and or Migration Assessments
  • Systems Performance Reviews
  • Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution

The experience you ll need to excel in the role:

  • Broad knowledge of on-premises Microsoft products with deep understanding of the following:
  • 5 plus years of Hyper-V experience focused on -
  • VMWare to Hyper-V migration/ conversions
  • Strong Hyper-V troubleshooting/ configuration experience
  • Azure VM Services
  • Azure Stack HCI
  • VMWare (VMWare to Hyper-V, AVS, Azure Stack)
  • Azure Arc
  • Azure Backup is preferred
  • ASR - Azure Site Recovery is preferred
  • Assist customers with migrating from 3rd party virtualization solutions to MS solutions
  • Making recommendations on performance and assist support with troubleshooting when needed
  • Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management with understanding of Microsoft s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy
  • Experience with customer facing roles in virtualization, systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshooting
