Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our efforts in acquiring new clients across US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT staffing and software services sales, with a focus on onboarding new clients who are looking to outsource their software services or staffing in various IT domains and securing new Statements of Work (SOWs) for software development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients in the US and Canadian markets.
- Identify potential clients needing IT staffing solutions or software development services and establish partnerships.
- Negotiate and secure new Statements of Work (SOWs) for custom software projects, ensuring alignment with client needs
- Travel to client sites within the US and Canada as needed to build relationships, present proposals, and close deals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT services and software projects.
- Using business insight to craft convincing, executive-level narratives that articulate value, ROI, and strategic trade-offs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for expanding our services.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, delivering consistent revenue growth.
Requirements:
- 15+ Years of proven track record of success in IT sales, specifically in IT staffing, consulting, or software development projects.
- Strong understanding of IT services, technology stacks, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated success engaging C-suite stakeholders across business and technology domains.
- 5+ years of sales experience in digital engineering and IT services, with a portfolio exceeding $20M
- Experience working with clients in the US and Canada.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term business relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High energy and a collaborative, action-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with contract negotiations and SOW development for software projects is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in selling IT staffing solutions and software services to mid-to-large enterprises.
- Familiarity with various IT roles such as developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and project managers.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and client relationships.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
