Hiring for a Manager of Application Development!

Important Notes:

  • This is a hybrid position with some onsite presence required

  • Especially interested in candidates open to relocating to the Denver/Boulder area - relocation support or a sign-on bonus may be available for the right candidate.

Odyssey is partnering with a leading credit union to hire a Manager of Application Development for a direct hire role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT leader with deep expertise in Symitar and the Jack Henry technology suite to lead a high-impact team supporting core banking and enterprise systems. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule (50% in-office).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6+ years of experience in financial institution technologies such as Symitar, Synapsys, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU, OpCon, MeridianLink, Encompass, Alkami, etc.

  • Hands-on experience in software development, version control, and testing practices

  • Proven leadership and people management experience

  • Strong understanding of Agile and project delivery methodologies

  • Ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership

 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

  • Hands-on experience with PowerOn / RepGen

  • Familiarity with AIX, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and ITIL

 

Compensation & Benefits Highlights:

  • Compensation: $115,000 $140,000 base + 8% annual bonus (~$124K $150K total comp)
