Contract Duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Python
- Solid experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with microservices
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, and others
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Experience with serverless architecture and deployments
- Strong grasp of both object-oriented and functional programming
- Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and modern cloud patterns
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application environments
- Comfort designing backend architecture and system flows
- Exposure to streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis
- Skilled at debugging and optimizing complex systems
- Experience working on high-traffic, low-latency systems
