Description

SAIC is currently seeking Windows Systems Administrator who is familiar with networking routers, switches and encryption devices to provide customer support to users of supported information management systems at Fort Liberty, NC.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as part of a support team and will be available to respond to the issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM, the 116th MI BDE and the 525th EMIB;
  • Provide support for SAN integration, configuration and Level I/II sustainment of INSCOM supported Distributed Processing, Exploitation, & Dissemination - Converged Infrastructure (DPED-CI), Federated Distributed Processing, Exploitation, & Dissemination (FPED), System Administration for Windows, and other applications and emerging systems.
  • Senior Systems Administrators work with classified materials during the scope of their duties and thus they should recognize security violations and know what steps to take should they encounter/observe such an incident.
  • Identify the need for any needed additional training, provides input and or materials for such training if required.
  • Work with the client to identify any issues, work to resolve any existing or anticipated issues or concerns
  • Candidate will be responsible for the Day to Day Active Directory functions that include:
  • Creation/management of User Accounts, Computer Accounts, Network Shares, Group Policies, Domain Controllers.
  • Auditing event/system logs for abnormalities.
  • Maintaining and adding to cable plant as necessary. (copper and fiber)
  • Providing documentation of network design/configuration and responsibilities of Senior Systems Administrators.

Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; four (4) years in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance and Certifications:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (ship required).
  • Current Security+ or CISSP Certification.

Required Experience.
  • OSI (Open System Interconnection) Model.
  • IP (Internet Protocol) Addressing to include subnetting.
  • TCP/UDP (Transmission Control Protocol/User Datagram Protocol).
  • VLANs (Virtual Local Area Network).
  • ACLs (Access Control Lists).
  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance (IA) requirements within either the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or the DIACAP IA processes.
  • Background and/or System Administrator experience with Distributed Common Ground
  • Station- Army (DCGS-A), and other Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) a plus.
  • Experience within the US Army INSCOM Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) center, and/or with the Converged Infrastructure (CI).
  • Linux Server experience a plus.
