Description
We are seeking a talented and hands-on lead content writer to lead the creation of marketing content for this higher education marketing assets. As a vital member of our team, the Senior Content Writer will be under the guidance of Studio leadership and collaborate closely with copyeditors, designers, project managers, and various creative marketing stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and excel in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. The ability to effectively communicate both up and downstream is a must, along with a results-oriented and positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze content writing scope and review briefs
Facilitate alignment with stakeholders at project intake as needed
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to develop and refine messaging
and content
Craft engaging, audience-focused content aligned with brand voice, tone, accessibility, and plain language standards
Produce content for campaigns, web, print, and other public-facing platforms
Develop multiple content/copy options for cross-channel executions under tight deadlines
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment alongside strategists, PMs, and
creative leads
Collaborate with project managers, creative stakeholders, and other team lead disciplines to assess resource requirements, identify process enhancements, and drive valuable change
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in content and/or copywriting for marketing campaigns and/or ecommerce
Experience in healthcare or health literacy content is a strong asset
Ability to self-direct, and perform under pressure in a calm and professional manner
Strong leadership and a commitment to building positive relationships within a high-performing environment
Comfort in managing relationships and setting expectations with stakeholders
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
Comfort in managing shifting priorities and navigating ambiguity within deadline-driven settings
Familiarity with creative workflows and asset development
Experience with Adobe Workfront and Acrobat is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Office Suite is required

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $100.00/hr.
