Pay Rate: $85-91.93/hour DOE

Job Overview

The Logistics Analyst will support global freight planning and operational logistics programs within Worldwide Logistics Operations. This role involves leading analytical projects, forecasting transportation capacity, and coordinating with regional and cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and Excel skills, extensive experience in logistics planning, and the ability to manage complex, high-visibility initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and publish inbound shipment forecasts (air, sea, and ground) across multiple regions, considering production output, packaging, and carrier commitments.
  • Manage distribution and transportation capacity for seasonality, new product launches, and sustaining operations.
  • Drive and own the yearly global air and ocean freight rate forecasts.
  • Develop detailed daily lift plans for new product introductions and collaborate with regional teams for proactive lift planning.
  • Evaluate supply and demand impacts on logistics, ensuring clear communication between global and regional stakeholders.
  • Compile and present analytical findings to leadership during bi-weekly freight syncs.
  • Support tool development for logistics functions such as freight forecasting, cost analysis, and database management.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in business process improvement and analytics initiatives to enhance global logistics efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
  • Bachelor s degree required; MBA or Master s preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage global initiatives and collaborate across matrixed teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP, relational databases (e.g., MS Access, MySQL), and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Project Management or Supply Chain certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
