Job Details

Title: Structural Engineer


Location: Carson City, NV (fully onsite)
Length of Contract: 6+ months

Hours: 40 hours per week M-F
Targeted Start Date: ASAP

Drug Screen/Background Check Both Required
This circular lithium recycling company client is looking for support within structural engineering for expanding their facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Execute and manage structural engineering projects with minimal supervision, owning the entire process from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications, perform complex structural calculations, review design work by others, and generate comprehensive reports and evaluations.
- Analyze and design concrete, steel, and masonry structural elements while creating and justifying calculations based on the relevant material codes.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record for most projects.
- Must have experience supporting many projects
Must Have:
- Must be a certified P.E. from any state
- Materials Experience: steel & concrete design
- Must have experience with RISA & Enercalc software
- Revit would be a big plus additionally
- Must have knowledge in ACI/ASCE/IBC/ AISC
- Must have heavy industrial industry experience (mining / Oil & Gas..etc.)
- Ideally has a Master s Degree in Structural Engineering or a B.S. in Civil Engineering WITH a focus in Structural Engineering (tradeoff for lots of similar industry experience
