Systems Engineer
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (Onsite)

JD:

You will be responsible for:

  • Drive innovation by applying best practices in software development and product lifecycle management within the healthcare technology domain.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex software system challenges while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate user needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
  • Conduct software risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to ensure product safety and reliability.
  • Define and support robust testing strategies, including verification and validation plans with requirements traceability.
  • Participate in software design reviews, contributing to improved product functionality and user experience.
  • Plan and execute tasks using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing, service, and customer training during the design transfer process.
  • Ensure compliance with medical product development processes, regulatory standards, and quality systems.


About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices, with the ability to integrate software and hardware solutions
  • Excellent technical documentation skills, ensuring accuracy and completeness in specifications and process records.
  • Strong background in Agile development methodologies, including backlog creation and maintenance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
  • Experience in regulated industries, with a solid understanding of compliance and quality assurance processes
