Senior SAP Functional Consultant with ABAP Development Expertise(offshore)

Basically it is a salary based C2H job where we get the whole salary then we will pay to the candidate. ( salary is between 1.3 lakh per month)

This is a contract to hire position. Base location willl be Trivandrum, Kerala. The candidate can work remotely but has to come to Trivandrum office on a need basis.. if there is a client visit, team meeting, etc.

About the JD,  primary focus is on functional knowledge, and should have basic development knowledge, not necessarily an expert.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Consultant with strong development capabilities to support and enhance our SAP landscape across Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This hybrid role requires deep functional knowledge in SAP SD, MM, and LO-VC, combined with hands-on ABAP development skills to design and deliver scalable solutions that drive commercial and operational value.

Key Responsibilities

Lead functional design, configuration, and delivery in SAP SD/MM and LO-VC, including pricing, ATP, delivery processing, procurement, inventory, and variant configuration.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality SAP solutions aligned with best practices.
Develop and support custom enhancements using ABAP, including BAPIs, RFCs, function modules, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, OData services, custom reports, CDS views, and performance-optimized data access.
Reverse-engineer SAP APIs and document integration models.
Partner with integration teams to deliver API-driven, scalable external system connections.
Conduct impact analysis, testing, documentation, and production deployment support.
Provide expert troubleshooting across functional and technical domains.
Ensure compliance with SAP security, data standards, and governance processes.
Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with strong SAP SD/MM domain knowledge.
Significant hands-on experience with LO-VC, including characteristics modeling, dependencies, variant pricing, and configuration rules.
Proven ABAP development expertise, including development of BAPIs, function modules, OData services, performance analysis, enhancements, and code optimization.
Deep familiarity with SAP integration frameworks and API technologies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to lead solution design across business and IT.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
Preferred Skills

Experience with integration or iPaaS platforms such as SAP CPI or MuleSoft.
Working knowledge of IDocs/EDI, error handling, and monitoring tools.
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 extensions and modern UX technologies.
Ability to mentor junior developers and consultants in a collaborative, agile environment.
