We are seeking a visionary Apparel Designer with deep expertise in knitwear and engineered textiles to drive innovation at the intersection of performance, style, and sustainability. You will lead the development of revolutionary knit concepts and capabilities that redefine the athlete and consumer experience. With a passion for both the art and science of knit, you'll shape the future of apparel through storytelling, technical design, and collaboration across disciplines.

responsibilities:


  • Lead Knitwear Design & Innovation: Drive the vision and execution of next-gen knitwear and engineered textiles for apparel, with a focus on seamless and flat knit structures.
  • Elevate Product Experience: Create products that blend performance with elevated design aesthetics-enhancing how consumers interact with and feel in the garments.
  • Drive Collaboration: Partner with Design, Development, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to build innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Shape the Future of Knit for Athletes: Deliver apparel that meets the functional needs of athletes through superior craftsmanship, materials, and knit technologies.
  • Inspire Through Storytelling: Communicate the technical narrative behind knit innovations, connecting design intent with consumer benefits.
  • Trend and Technology Awareness: Stay ahead of material, knit, and textile trends through ongoing industry research and innovation scouting.
  • Leverage Digital Tools: Utilize Illustrator and CLO (or be willing to learn CLO) to enhance visualization, efficiency, and prototyping capabilities.

qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in women's apparel design
  • Strong background in knitwear design-experience designing knit structures and engineered textiles
  • Technical understanding of knit construction, materials, and performance properties
  • Portfolio showcasing activewear, tight-to-body garments, and women's performance apparel
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
