Senior Business Analyst / Business Architect

Position Overview 

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Business Architect to lead requirements gathering and business process design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations. This position requires a seasoned professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to clients while bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Client Engagement & Requirements Management 

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to elicit comprehensive business requirements 

• Analyze current-state business processes and design optimized future-state solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities 

• Document detailed business requirements, process flows, and system specifications 

• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements 

Documentation & Delivery 

• Create and maintain business process flow diagrams and documentation 

• Author epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO) with clearly defined acceptance criteria 

• Develop comprehensive user guides, training materials, and end-user documentation 

• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle 

Quality Assurance & User Enablement 

• Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and acceptance criteria aligned to business requirements 

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and validate business outcomes 

• Deliver end-user training and create supporting materials to ensure successful adoption 

• Provide ongoing support during and after implementation phases 

Leadership & Collaboration 

• Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on the project team 

• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in business analysis 

• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders 

• Partner with technical architects and developers to ensure solution alignment 

Required Qualifications 

Experience & Expertise 

• 7+ years of business analysis experience, with significant focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations 

• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise projects from requirements through deployment 

• Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 modules (Customer Service, Claims Management, or relevant modules) and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) 

• Strong knowledge of data management principles, data modeling, and document management systems 

Technical Skills 

• Expert proficiency with Azure DevOps for requirements and project management 

• Advanced skills in business process modeling (BPMN, UML, or similar methodologies) 

• Experience with requirements management tools and techniques 

• Understanding of system integration concepts and APIs

Preferred Qualifications 

• Microsoft certifications (MB-200, PL-200, PL-400, or equivalent)
