SAP CPI

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud-based middleware, and best practices for building secure, scalable integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

Design and implement integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI to connect SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA public cloud) with third-party applications.

Develop real-time and batch-based integration solutions using CPI capabilities such as message mapping, adapters, and APIs.

Configuration & Deployment

Configure integration adapters (e.g., HTTP, SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, OData, REST).

Manage and deploy integration artifacts in different CPI tenants (Development, Test, Production).

Testing & Troubleshooting

Conduct unit testing and integration testing to validate solution functionality.

Troubleshoot integration errors, performance issues, and data mapping problems.

Documentation & Support

Create technical documentation for integration designs and processes.

Provide production support, incident resolution, and enhancements for existing integrations.

Collaboration & Governance

Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and external vendors.

Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and performancerequirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.

Advanced Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSLT, and message mapping.

Knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, HTTP).

Familiarity with SAP API Management is a plus.

Experience

Minimum 5+ years in SAP CPI development.

Minimum 10 yrs+ experience in SAP Integration projects

Experience on Cloud Connector, API Management, and Event Mesh knowledge is a plus.

Experience in defining integration security standards, including OAuth, SAML, X.509 certificates.

Experience in using CPI monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Experience integrating SAP with cloud-based and on-premises systems.

Experience with SAAS like S/4HANA Public

Experience integrating ECC & S/4 HANA
