Job Title: Senior Salesforce Architect Development Optimization & Technical Debt Reduction

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Must be local to Plano for F2F Interview - and Must have 15+ years of Experince required.

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the transformation of our Salesforce ecosystem with a focus on development optimization, technical debt reduction, and long-term scalability. This role will be instrumental in modernizing Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Analytics Cloud.

You ll drive architectural strategy, streamline dev processes, and enable cost-effective integrations while enhancing performance and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

< data-start="960" data-end="1023">1. Development Optimization & Technical Debt Reduction</>

  • Audit and evaluate existing Salesforce codebase and dev practices.

  • Define scalable, efficient coding standards and enforce architectural best practices.

  • Reduce code bloat and eliminate unnecessary customizations.

< data-start="1244" data-end="1290">2. Salesforce Ecosystem Modernization</>

  • Architect, design, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across all major clouds.

  • Lead updates of legacy Apex code, integrations, and configurations.

  • Improve instance performance, workflow reliability, and content management.

< data-start="1527" data-end="1577">3. Team Right-Sizing & Process Automation</>

  • Introduce and enforce version control and CI/CD best practices.

  • Streamline the dev team structure to improve velocity and ROI.

  • Drive integration across the tech stack including analytics and automation tools.

  • Champion Salesforce platform standards, especially within Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

  • Lead knowledge-sharing, enforce documentation protocols, and mentor developers.

  • Align architecture with business priorities across teams and stakeholders.

Required Experience:

  • 15+ years in software architecture with a focus on Salesforce.

  • Proven experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud implementations.

  • Strong background in reducing tech debt and improving enterprise dev workflows.

Technical Expertise:

  • Mastery of Salesforce platform, Apex, Lightning Components, and API integrations.

  • Experience designing microservices, API-first architectures, and AI/ML-assisted optimization.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools.

Leadership & Impact:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical transformation initiatives in large enterprises.

  • Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator with senior stakeholders.

  • Innovative mindset, balancing modernization with practical business value.
