Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering with a

strong focus on Azure-based data migration projects.

This role requires deep expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and PySpark. Experience in the healthcare domain and Azure certifications are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end Azure-based data migration and modernization projects.
  • Develop and optimize PySpark scripts for data transformation and processing. - Manage and maintain data lakes and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using ADLS.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain best practices for data engineering processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong programming skills in PySpark and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure-based data migration and integration projects.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing Concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare domain with knowledge of healthcare data standards.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments.
