Duration: 6 Month contract to hire

Location: 100% Remote

MUST have solid recent business side Commercial Risk Insurance Broking exp.

CANNOT be too IT focused, resume must clearly show these things

  • Position: Program Manager. A 6-month contract-to-hire Risk Transformational Program Leader role focused on commercial insurance transformation. The position requires deep commercial risk insurance expertise combined with management consulting experience to drive end-to-end value chain initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Why is this role open?
  • This is a backfill, the person who was in this role was very strong in commercial risk, very good resource just moved to another team.
  • Tell us more about the role. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis? What are the main objectives for this role?

They will be working on any initiatives that come in, in the risk capital space specifically.

  • Must have requirements:.
  • Client would prefer this person has worked in leading management consulting work. If not, just leading these initiatives will also do.
  • Either management consulting (like Accenture or Deloitte with end client global insurance) or global insurance industry experience. They must have insurance industry experience Client needs a SME with executive presence and communication, etc.
  • Someone who has led transformation efforts, on a large scale, typically multi-year. They need a SME with a background in commercial risk (insurance), risk capital and end-to-end value chain. They need to know the different steps involved. They need to understand the journey and the risk analytics, how brokering and underwriting are done.
  • These are very strategic initiatives. They will be carrying through the creation of the business case, leading execution and delivery. They must have an understanding of the end-to-end program journey and some CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) and OPEX (Operating Expenditures)and how that ties to transformation journey.
  • They must be able to drive execution not someone just taking notes and ensuring everyone is following the plan. They really need to understand and embed themselves in the journey, strategize and carry it to completion. Be a driver in addition to a strategic resource.
  • They need a mix of technology/process a lot of these transformations do have a technology aspect to them
  • MS PowerPoint skills are important. Works with leadership and must have the ability to translate ideas into compelling presentations to show the executives.
  • Communication/ability to work in global teams/etc.
  • They want candidates either in Central or Eastern time zones.
  • Prefer Master's degree candidates, depending on the individual may consider Bachelor's only.
