Workday Integration Consultant

Our client is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, migrating from Oracle to Workday, and is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to lead and support integration development during this transition. This is a contract role offering remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on a high-impact enterprise project. The selected candidate must be in USA and work EST hours. Prior experience in Higher Education projects is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Workday integrations in support of an Oracle to Workday migration initiative.
• Build and maintain integrations using:
• Workday Studio
• Core and Cloud Connectors
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to gather requirements and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Leverage Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management to support hybrid environments.
• Conduct integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Create documentation, lead knowledge transfer sessions, and provide post-deployment support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Workday integrations, delivering complex, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with multiple Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Finance, etc.
• Deep expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and SOAP/REST Web Services.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure integration tools: Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management.
• Solid understanding of data transformation, mapping, and security protocols such as OAuth and SAML.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
